Michael, His wife Jessica, and their children: Kimberly, Elizabeth, Ethan, and Jaxon moved to Hamlin to begin serving at FBC in September of 2018. Shortly afterward they celebrated the birth of their fifth child, Miranda.  Michael has served in a wide range of worship centered ministries over the past twelve years and is passionate about writing worship songs as well. Michael’s passion is using music and anything else he can to share the joy that comes with serving a loving God and to bless His people.  “The music time in a service is not a time where we seek an experience, but rather, it’s a time where we seek God and reflect on His Grace, His Love, and His Majesty. If we do that, it will end up being quite the experience anyways!” Michael leads an energetic and joyful choir, the Sunday worship musicians, and also heads up the youth praise band, the tech/media ministry, and the drama ministry. If you love to worship with others at church and want to be a part of it, even if you don’t think you have the skills, let Michael know and we will see if we can find a place for you to get involved!

Dale and his wife Helen came to FBC Hamlin in February of 2021. They have two grown children who are married and serve God in camp ministry in Texas. Dale has over 20 years experience in student ministry and enjoys pouring into them, their parents, and developing leaders as well. “Student’s are not the church of tomorrow, if they are a believer they are the church of today. I feel my job is to partner with parents, grandparents, coaches, and teachers to make disciples out of their students.” His life verse is 1 Corinthians 10:31 “Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” Dale is a firm believer that student’s lives are most impacted serving Jesus on the mission field and bringing home what they learned and putting into daily use.
